How to Prepare and What to Expect When Having Tree Work Done

Tree work can be difficult and stressful for those who live there. Tree Service Daytona makes it easy and ensures that everyone is well taken care of. It can be difficult to ensure that you have the correct equipment for any situation. It's impossible to predict when an accident will occur or how high things will rise, but the team can manage any task with the tools they have.

Preparing:

The client must reserve parking unless otherwise indicated in the estimate. For their chipper and truck, the crew will require 3 spaces of regular parking in front of your property. Any trees that need to be trimmed must also be clear of cars. To avoid any damage to your truck's equipment, it is important to move your cars from the driveway.

Personal property: Pots, outdoor furniture, and other personal items that may be damaged must be removed from any area where work is to be done. If you have questions about what you need to move, please call us. The crew may charge extra for time spent moving personal items.

Dog poo: The crew will need to inspect your yard for dog feces. They will be running ropes on the ground and rigging equipment, which can lead to delays or cancellations. You are responsible for everything else.

Internet Access: If a tree is removed, internet, cable TV, and landline phone services may be affected. You can usually call your cable company to have your service restored within 24 hours. However, if you need continuous internet/telephone access, we can offer a temporary solution that will keep you connected until your cable company arrives. If you return your cable line, you get a free bonus. Otherwise, you will pay $40.

The following are your options:

Arrival: The crew will arrive at your tree job between 8:30 and 9:15 a.m. Depending on the time of day, the crew may arrive up to three hours earlier or later than your scheduled arrival time. We will attempt to update you as soon as possible if you require a more exact arrival time. Please call the office no later than an hour before the scheduled arrival time. You should speak with your project manager if you have any concerns. There are many factors that can affect the schedule, so the better your manager will be able to accommodate you.

Timing of Different Services: Not all services are performed by the exact same person. For example, if you have a tree taken down, one crew will take it out, another will remove the firewood and another will grind the stump to make room for a new tree. These services can be delivered over several days (between 2 and 5 days). If you have a deadline you must meet in your scheduling, please inform your project manager. We are required by law to wait 48 hours after a tree is removed before we can make alternative arrangements.

At Home: It is not necessary to be home during tree work. You can work while tree maintenance takes place and you can trust that it will be done properly in your absence. This is one way to reduce the cost of tree work. If you have specific ideas about the distance a tree should be lifted, the back of which tree you want to trim, or any other tasks that require personal knowledge, you can do so at home.

Rest of the Debris:

Leaves: We charge an additional fee for a Fall Clean-up if you have tree work to be done in the autumn.

You can keep the wood from being damaged by allowing it to be left as is. You must notify your estimator if you need a different length of wood or if the wood needs to be moved and stacked. Any adjustments after the fact could result in additional fees.

Stump grindings: When a stump has been ground, it leaves behind a mound of wood shavings and dirt. A large stump can create a mound if it is removed. The grindings should be removed before planting in the area or left to decay for at least one season. In either case, you will have enough material to move. The grindings can be used as mulch in your planting beds. We can remove the grindings at an additional cost if you wish.

Terminated Work: Your yard should look the same or better as it did before our arrival. If it doesn't or you aren't completely satisfied, give us a shout. We'd love to fix it. An arborist from our office will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the work done. We would be grateful for any feedback on the service we provided.
